Description
The drive over Harrison Pass in Nevada is always an interesting experience. Harrison Pass is sometimes a short cut route to get between Lamoille Valley and Ruby Valley. A section of the road is dirt and it is not maintained in the winter meaning it spends several months buried in snow and closed. It is usually pretty rough in the spring and on this particular day it was covered by a recent snow storm so I decided not to chance trying to drive over it. Instead I did a bit of hiking around and enjoyed the unique granite rock formations that contribute to the excellent scenery in the area.
